Glass fiber reinforced polymer bar with an integral ribbed profile — four times lighter than steel, three times stronger, and non-conductive to heat, cold and electricity.

The rib is formed as part of the bar, not bonded to it. The bar mechanically locks into the concrete, and the only way to pull it out is to break the concrete.
Straight bar replaces many bent-bar details — joining slabs, joining walls to floors, corners, anchoring, and reducing embedment lengths.
Crack control is better than conventional reinforcement: fewer cracks, and smaller crack widths where they do form. Installation takes half the time with half the personnel, and there is no maintenance or repair across the service life.
Bent bars are produced in modified vinyl-ester resin and prefabricated into 2D, 3D and spiral shapes, round or square. Bend-zone strength retention exceeds 75% against the 45% required by CSA S807, with a coefficient of variation under 5% and a minimum bend radius of 2.5 × d.
Nominal properties across the range: minimum 1000 MPa in tension and minimum 20 MPa in bond, in bar sizes #3 through #8.
Send us the project and we will come back with specification support and supply.
